One-of-kind contemporary art piece by Minneapolis artist Jesse Matthew Petersen. Titled “Ambiguant No. 12”, it is a digitally-manipulated collage, printed on archival semi-gloss photo paper, mounted to 1/2” thick black PVC board, then cut, shaped and sanded smooth around the contours of the image. It was originally shown in 2017 at Soo Visual Art Center as part of a debut series. It deftly straddles a line between 2D and 3D, and has a sensually sculptural presence.
