Introducing these Photolithography collages, each pencil signed by American - New York based artist, Alan Sonfist, circa 1980.   Part of the artist's 'Ancient Forests & Waterways of New York City Proposals'.  Each piece is numbered 36/100 with series number.  

Alan explores ecological issues through projects that use materials and methods of naturalists, historians, and urban planners. His work is influenced by the rejection of commercialization in the 1960s and his upbringing in New York City's South Bronx. Unlike other artists, Sonfist incorporates the specific histories of a site into his work.
